On October 15, 2019, an international conference on the theme "Outstanding political leader of India" was held in the UWED. dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the prominent political and public figure of India, Mahatma Gandhi.
On October 12, 2019, master class by UN international expert, participant of UN project “Healthy lifestyle”, candidate of psychological sciences, Lukman Kazakov, took place at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy together with the Republican Center for Spirituality and Enlightenment was a spiritual, educational, artistic and musical event, which named "You are eternal, I am proud of you, my mother tongue!".
On October 14th of the current year a regular meeting of University Education Council was held. The primary significance was paid to an important issue of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Approving the Concept for Further Development of the System of Higher Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030”.
Teachers of the Chinese language department of the "Oriental Languages" UWED visited the exhibition-presentation "Higher Education in China", which was held from October 8 to 10 at the International Hotel Tashkent.
At the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, a meeting was hold on the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Norway to the Republic of Uzbekistan with the residence in Oslo, Mr. Ole Juhan Burny. By students, undergraduates, as well as the teaching staffs of UWED were attended in that conference.
A lecture on the topic was hold in the conference hall of the UWED which is “Working with and for young people: UN and OHCHR perspectives”.
September 30, 2019 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Tashkent, teachers and mentors were honored on the day of their professional holiday.
From August 4 to 11, 2019, students of the UWED Kayumova Madina and Narziev Akobir were honored to represent Uzbekistan at the international festival "Hello, Russia!" In Moscow.
