September 17, 2019 The delegation of the Federal Republic of Germany, consisting of the head of the Department for Leading Personnel of the Administration of the German Bundestag, Ms. Daniel Rosenthal, and the professor at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Mr. Michael Bogard, visited the UWED.
UWED graduate Abdulla Azizov was appointed Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The UWED was visited by a representative delegation of the International Mind Education Institute (IMEI) led by the Secretary-General, member of the Commission on Education of the Institute, prof. Cho Gyu Yeun.

On September 23, 2019 at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy meeting on the theme "Uzbekistan is a land of interethnic harmony and religious tolerance" was held.
On September 21, the UWED Ecoclub team took part in a public environmental campaign called World Cleanup Day organized by the Goskomekologiya of the Republic of Uzbekistan to clean up mountainous areas from garbage in the Tashkent region (Yangiabad mountains).
A master class on "How to become a leading internationalist in the 21st century?" by a graduate of this university, currently a leading consultant of the Department of adviser-speechwriter of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Usmanov was held at the UWED on September 21, 2019.
On September 20, 2019 at the International Westminster University in Tashkent was held meeting with the participation of the UN Special Rapporteur on the independence of Judges and Lawyers - Diego Garcia-Sayan.
In accordance with the program of the Memorandum on student exchange between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and Hankuk University (Korea), signed in 2017,the UWED has been teaching Koreas students for several years.
On September 12, 2019 was held a spiritual and educational event on the topic "Prevention of Drugs and Drug Abuse" in the University's Hall in cooperation with the National Center for Drug Control under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
