Admission to undergraduate programs at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy for the 2023–2024 academic year

Submission of applicants' documents to the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan will start from June 15 and last until July 5, 2023 through online application submission system.
Applicants can apply for the following undergraduate majors:

60310800 – "International Relations"
60310700 – "Political Science"
60412000 – “International Economics and Management (by regions and lines of activity)”

60420100 – “Jurisprudence (by type of activity)”

Applicants can fill out an online application form via admission.uwed.uz and upload an electronic copy of the required documents for registration. After registration, the applicants will be informed of the date and time of the preliminary exam.

Admission to undergraduate programs at the UWED for the 2023–2024 academic year

The list of documents required in the system of electronic registration of applicants:
1. Passport. For those who have not reached the age of passport issuance, a birth certificate (scanned in PDF format) is required.
2. A document confirming general secondary education (based on 11th grade) or specialized secondary, vocational education institution (certificate, diploma scanned in PDF format).
3. Official electronic photo in 3x4 size.
Document photo requirements.
   - The face in the photo should be located in the center of the picture, no selfies.
   - The eyes are open and clearly visible.
   - The picture is taken without sunglasses.
   - The image must be sharp and clear.
   - Homogeneous lighting, no highlights, harsh shadows and contrasts.
   - The background should be monotonous, without texture, the background color is lighter than the face.

4. Certificate indicating the level of proficiency in a foreign language (if available) scanned in PDF format.
5. Additional documents granting privileges for admission to the university (if available) scanned in PDF format.

Attention! The preliminary exam for the 2023-2024 academic year will be held either online or offline (at the request of applicants online) from July 1 to July 6.

The preliminary exam consists of three modules of questions:

Module 1. Intellectual level assessment (IQ test, 40 points).

Module 2. Foreign language proficiency assessment (English, French and German) (Test, 30 points):

Module 3. Native language (Uzbek or Russian) proficiency assessment Evaluation of literacy and the ability to provide reasonable explanations on the topics of culture, art, history, geography of Uzbekistan and others. (Applicants will be required to write a short essay (100-150 words, 30 points).

Applicants that have a language proficiency certificate of at least IELTS level 5.5, TOEFL IBT score 61, or B2 level according to the Multilevel method (CEFR) for DаF Test, GOETHE certificate, DELF, etc. will receive the maximum score of 30 points for the foreign language proficiency assessment.
Applicants that receive a total of 50 points or higher will be allowed to participate in the Entrance exams conducted by the State Testing Center.
Only applicants that receive a total of 50 points or higher will be able to choose UWED as the university of study when applying for universities in the State Testing Center portal - my.uzbmb.uz Applicants can also choose 4 other universities aside from the chosen University of World Economy and Diplomacy.
