An international conference devoted to the problems of the mass media in the context of globalization was held in Nukus. Its participants were scientists, educators, experts in the field of mass media. The conference was attended by representatives of leading universities in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine and electronic mass-media.
On July 3, 2019, students of the Legal Clinic of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy took part in a master class organized by the director of the Turkiston Press publishing house, Louisa Makhmudova, on the topic “The role of the mass media in the legal sphere and the basis of their effective use”.
On July 1, 2019, students of the Legal Clinic of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy together with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a seminar on the “importance of applying international law in the activities of prosecution bodies”, which was held at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Academy.
