On July 1, 2019, students of the Legal Clinic of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy together with the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a seminar on the “importance of applying international law in the activities of prosecution bodies”, which was held at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Academy.

During the meeting, Marat Palvanov, Head of the Department for Organization and Control of the Educational Process at the Academy, and Ulugbek Rakhmanov, Head of the Department of Magistracy, familiarized students with the activities of the prosecutor’s office and the organization of the educational process at the Academy, and also highlighted some aspects of the work in the field of prosecution and investigations also anti-corruption measures in Uzbekistan.

In the second part of the event, students of the Legal Clinic familiarized themselves with the material and technical base of the Academy and practical exercises, and also received answers to their questions. It was noted that the continuation of such meetings at the event was beneficial for both parties, and agreed to continue cooperation.
