November 26 this year A meeting was held at the UWED with a scientific delegation from China led by a senior researcher at the Political Studies Division of the Institute of Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IRECA) prof. Li Yajun, Associate Professor, Department of Central Asian Studies, IRVECA, Dr. Bao Yi.
On November 22, 2019, students at the Faculty of International Relations who are members of the club “Leader Girls” under the women’s council of the UWED took part in the project “IT Women” organized by the Women’s Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
November 14-15, 2019 Senior Lecturer, Department of International Economics, Ph.D. Sultanova G.K. and doctoral student UWED Karimova H.R. took part in the final conference of the scientific project “Strengthening and Energizing EU-Central Asia relations”, abbreviated SEnECA).
On November 22, 2019, the Poytaxt Business Center hosted a seminar on the topic “Water Resources and Diplomacy” with the Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Canada in the European Union and Europe Mr. Stephen Dion.
The II Central Asian International Seminar "Teaching Journalism for Sustainable Development" was held at Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan and was dedicated to World Television Day.
The Student House of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a creative evening of lovers of reading books, poems and poetic art. The initiator of this event was the Department of Social and Political Sciences.
On 20th of November, 2019, as a part of «UWED Week», intellectual game «Что? Где? Когда?» was organized by socially active students. This event caused a lot of pleasant emotions not only to students from different universities but to staff of university too.
On a symbolic date - Independence Day of Latvia, the Embassy of this country in Uzbekistan donated to the UMED library a large collection of books from 86 titles published over the past years in English, Russian and Latvian about the history, literature, culture, and modern achievements of Latvia.
The third day of festival UWED Week began with IQ-Test, continued with Debates, Chess and Checkers and ended with Voice.
The second day of festival UWED Week began with Swimming, continued with Debates, election of Ms. & Mr. UWED and ended with "Literary contest".
