On November 22, 2019, the Poytaxt Business Center hosted a seminar on the topic “Water Resources and Diplomacy” with the Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Canada in the European Union and Europe Mr. Stephen Dion. At this seminar, interesting reports were presented by representatives of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, UNDP in Uzbekistan and representatives of ministries and departments. The focus of this meeting was on international cooperation between Canada and Uzbekistan on the situation in the Aral Sea region and the state of the water management system.

The purpose of this seminar was to attract young people in issues of the Aral Sea and the rational management of water resources in Central Asia. UMED students took an active part in the debate.
