UWED representatives took part in the exhibition-presentation “Higher Education in China”

Teachers of the Chinese language department of the "Oriental Languages" UWED visited the exhibition-presentation "Higher Education in China", which was held from October 8 to 10 at the International Hotel Tashkent.

The exhibition was opened by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan, Ms. Jiang Yan. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan, Deputy Secretary General of the Chinese Council for Scholarships, Mr. Zhang Ning, as well as Chinese language teachers and students of various universities of Uzbekistan.

In her speech, Ms. Jiang Yan expressed gratitude for the organization of the exhibition, and emphasized that, with the personal care of the Heads of State of Uzbekistan and China, with the joint efforts of both sides, humanitarian exchanges and educational cooperation between the two countries have intensified. The ambassador emphasized that holding such events will help Uzbek students who wish to study in China learn more about education in China and will contribute to the humanitarian cooperation between the two countries.

The exhibition was organized by the Chinese Embassy in Uzbekistan jointly by the Chinese Council for Fellowships and the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of Uzbekistan.

The exhibition was attended by more than 30 well-known Chinese universities, such as Tsinghua University, Peking University of Foreign Languages ​​and the Metropolitan University of Economics and Trade, as well as other leading universities in China.
