1st-year student of International Relations faculty of University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Samandar Saraev was awarded with “The best young scientist of CIS-2020” medal for the 1-place in the II International Book Edition of the countries of Commonwealth of Independent States “Best young scientist - 2020”.

The life and creative work of Abdullah Qadiriy (1894 - 1938) was devoted to a literary evening at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. A.Qadiriy is the founder of the Uzbek novel, the author of the immortal works “Bygone Days” (1925), “Scorpion from the Altar” (1929), the story “Abid-Ketmen”, etc.
On November 30, 2020, the "World Student Summit" was held online to attract young people interested in developing the economy, international relations, diplomacy and intercultural dialogue.
From November 26 to 30, 2020, a psychological training for 1st year students of all faculties of the University was held in the dormitory of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy.

D.Kamilov and T.Turakulov, the judges of Uchtepa district criminal court was held at UWED on November 26, 2020. The judge heard the criminal case under Part 1 of Article 276 of the Criminal code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
