Results of the UWED Spartakiad

On March 13 at the University of world economy and diplomacy a spartakid dedicated to the Navruz holiday started. The teams of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, university professors-teachers, UWED undergraduates, students of the Tashkent branch of Moscow State Institute of International Relations, the faculties of International relations, International economics and management, International law and the UWED Lyceum competed in football, volleyball, basketball, swimming, chess, table tennis. During the competition, the participants showed their skill, perseverance and honest, uncompromising struggle.

The ceremony of awarding the winners of the Spartakiad took place on March 27. According to the final results of the Spartakiad, the participants were awarded as follows:

• 2nd place in the football team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• 1st place in chess, basketball (men) 2nd place, volleyball (men) 3rd place in the Tashkent branch of MSIIR;
• Faculty of International relations 3rd place in basketball (women), 2nd and 3rd places in "Freestyle" swimming;
• Faculty of International economics and management 1st place in football, 1st place in volleyball (men), 2nd place (girls), 1st place in basketball (women), 2nd place in chess, 2nd place e and 3 rd places in swimming (“Brass” style, men), “Freestyle” 1, 2 and 3 places in table tennis, 3 place;
• Students of the faculty of International law 3rd place in football, 1st place in basketball (men), 2nd place in basketball (women), 2nd place in volleyball (men), 1st place in volleyball (girls), 3rd place in chess, swimming (in style "Brass", men) 1st place, "Freestyle" (women) 1st place, table tennis 1st and 2nd place.

According to the final results of gold medals, the team of the faculty of International law took 1st place, the team of the faculty of International economics and management took 2nd place, the Tashkent branch of MSIIR took 3rd place.
