Currently, the world is threatened by the COVID-19 virus, which primarily affects the respiratory tract: nose, mouth, and lungs. Therefore, it is forbidden to engage in physical activity in public places (for example, a fitness center) due to the fact that there is a high probability of infection from other people who are engaged in nearby activities. This is due to the fact that the virus can be transmitted when people sneeze or cough. The question arises “Should I Stop playing sports during the pandemic or not?”. The answer to this question is very simple — of course, it is worth doing physical culture while in quarantine. So, if you have previously been engaged in sports, then in order to maintain your stamina and not gain extra weight, you should continue to train at home. After all, the normalized amount of physical activity increases the immune system of the human body and, most importantly, the mucous membrane, which is directly exposed to danger when the virus spreads. If you were not interested in training before the outbreak of the pandemic, you can start doing physical education at home in self-isolation, as students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy do.
