The campaign “100 books for a student” continues

It is known that books occupy an important place in the development of the spiritual world of young people. The promotion of reading and the development of reading culture among young people is one of the priorities of the education system.

The necessary measures are being taken to achieve noticeable results in this direction. In particular, in the “Student Social and Cultural Media Center”, opened at the “Maunaviyat va marifat” center under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education, a campaign “100 books for a student” is being organized within the framework of the project of our President Sh. M. Mirziyoyev “5 Initiatives” and aimed at promoting the “Book cafe” foundation. Professors and students of the UWED took an active part in this action, donating more than 150 samples of fiction and educational literature to the foundation.

Head of  Department of the “Student Social and Cultural Media Center” O. Bozorov expressed his gratitude to the leadership and the team of UWED.

Given that the project of our esteemed President Sh.M. Mirziyoyev “5 initiatives” is being successfully implemented, it was considered appropriate to recall the words of one of the sages:

"In the world I have not found a friend better, a present better than a book!"
