Celebratory events dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defender of the Fatherland Day were organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 29th anniversary of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Defender of the Fatherland Day under the motto "Loyalty to the Fatherland is the most sacred duty" on January 18, 2021.

The event was opened by a congratulatory speech by the rector of the UWED K.H.Karimov. It was noted that today's peaceful and prosperous life of our country is reliably protected by the Armed Forces of our country. The event was attended by officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, university veterans, professors, students and guests.

Representatives of the Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Central Song and Dance Ensemble of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan gave a special pleasure to the musical and theatrical performances.

In addition, the military performances of our students, who have served in the military, gave a more uplifting atmosphere to the festive event.

The screening of a film about the unfortunate events in foreign countries and the peace in our country, which was shown during the holiday, further strengthened the feelings of gratitude in the hearts of our students.
