Enhancing the legal literacy of journalists in the field of media freedom in Uzbekistan

In 22 October, At the University of Journalism and Mass Communication, a training was held on the topic "Enhancing the legal literacy of journalists in the field of media freedom in Uzbekistan" with the support of the British Embassy which third year students from international law faculty took part in. During the training, the most significant issues of legal literacy of journalists were discussed. Incidents related to journalists were also discussed.

The training participants familiarized themselves with many factors of the activities of journalists through a detailed analysis of the powers of journalists. At the seminar, the areas of activity of journalists and lawyers were differentiated. In addition, the points of contact of their powers and responsibilities were studied.
