On October 19, 2019, a visiting curatorial lesson of the assistant professor of the Department of Economic Theory R.A. Djuraeva was held with third-year students of the faculty of IEM of groups 0-5a-17, 0-6a-17 and 0-7a-17. A trip to the Institute of the Sun, a scientific research institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, located in the Parkent district of Tashkent region, in the village of the Sun, provided interesting information about this unique scientific and technical object. Students got acquainted with the work of the Big Solar Furnace, which is an optical-mechanical complex with an automatic control system that allows you to convert solar energy into heat.

Also there were presented the practical developments of NPO Physics-Sun, which have a wide scope in the space, metallurgy, oil and gas, textile industries, as well as in construction and medicine.

The students were also very interested in the scientific activities of the Institute. On the basis of the unique Physics-Sun complex, multi-purpose observations of the Sun, theoretical and experimental studies are carried out that help to study the effect of solar radiation on the Earth’s climate, on human and his environment.
