Opening of the Republican Students’ media-social and cultural Center

According to the Decree of the Ministry of the Republic of Uzbekistan №736 dated 17.09.2018, “Students’ media-social and cultural Center” was created with the aim of expansion of activities of the Center of Culture and Enlightenment under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.

The team of teachers and professors of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with 138 copies of the best books was among the first to take part in the book action “100 books for students” organized by the “Students’ media-social and cultural Center”, becoming an example for other Higher Education Institutions.

On September 27, 2019, the opening of the “Students’ media-social and cultural Center” was held under the Center of Culture and Enlightenment of the Ministry of Higher Education. Students of the “International Relations” and “World Economy and Management” departments took an active part in the event.

It is noteworthy to mention that the team of UWED received a letter of gratitude from the Center of Culture and Enlightenment under the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education.
