At the International Summer School - on communication and information

From July 12 to July 14, the 7th International Summer School of Journalism and Communication took place in the recreation area of the Kazakh National University in Issykkul, Bosteri (Kyrgyzstan) under the auspices of UNESCO and the support of media organizations. Its theme was “Global Communication and National Media: Better Awareness and Involvement for Citizens”. Representatives of the Central Asian republics of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Karakalpakstan participated in it. From Uzbekistan, the forum was attended by nine people - scientists, teachers, media workers, doctoral students, young researchers from the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, the National University of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek State University of World Languages, the Karakalpak State University. The delegation leader is Doctor of Philology, Professor of the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the UWED Fumin Muminova Fatima Izatullaevna conducted a master class on the topic “The National Media Market of Uzbekistan and Information Skills of Citizens”. In the discussion of topical issues of communication and information at the seminars and trainings, Yukhut Mamatova, Doctor of Philology, and Shavkat Ibragimov, Head of the Department, Nazir Tashpulatov, Head of the Department of State University of Uzbekistan, and Karakalpak State University, Chairperson, and Malika Dzhumamuratova, spoke at the seminars and trainings. Professor, Doctor of Political Sciences, Head of the Department of KazNU GS Sultanbaeva is the head of the Mediasphere scientific center within the framework of the project of which Winter and Summer Schools of Journalists are held annually. In her presentation, she spoke about the concepts and objectives of these forums, their focus on establishing and strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between academics and practitioners and journalists in Central Asian republics, organizing an exchange of students and teachers for training and obtaining a double degree. As part of the forum program, a creative evening was organized, during which songs were performed, verses in national languages were read.
