The participation of International law faculty students in seminar dedicated to the The process of legislation and the adoption of laws experience of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea held by Oliy Majlis of Republic of Uzbekistan

On May 4, 2019, the “Club of Young Legislators” Institute of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies under the Oliy Majlis held a seminar on the theme: “The process of legislation and the adoption of laws” experience of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea which was attended by students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Faculty "International Law".

During the seminar, members of the club discussed the activities of the Chamber of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and their role in government, as well as the peculiarities of the legislation process in Uzbekistan.

Along with this, the seminar presented selection information on the specifics of the lawmaking process in the Republic of Korea, the timing of legislation in Korea, the examination of laws, the provision for public discussion, the compilation of proposals, the announcement of laws to the people, the issues of expert assessment of the deadlines.

At the end of the seminar, the club members had the opportunity not only to get answers to their questions, but also to present their proposals for improving the legislation.
