The Olympic Museum, which is considered as the mirror of the national sport, was opened in 1996. On April 6, 2019, a group of first-year students of the Faculty of International Relations visited this museum on the basis of a plan.

The museum staff told students about the history, construction, historical documents and exhibits of the museum. Students with breathless interest watched videos about the victories of our athletes, about the medals they won for the glory of our country, about sports and its place in international relations.

Also, the students were shown a video dedicated to the world-historic victories of Uzbekistan athletes and the history of the development of the Olympic movement in our country.

The Museum of Olympic Glory has over a thousand expositions. Students familiarized themselves with various medals, cups, torches, sports equipment and clothing exhibits.

Sport is of great importance in the education of a comprehensively developed generation. Consequently, the presence of such a museum plays an important role in the widespread promotion of physical culture and sports among the younger generation.

To instill in young people the idea of the inseparability of sport from physical and spiritual development should be our task, since precisely the youth determines the development of society and the country in the future.
