Masters of their business, journalists of the TV program “Assalom, Uzbekistan” and the TV channel “National” Kumushbibi Ermamatova and Nilufar Akhmedova told about the peculiarities of the work of state and independent, commercial television.

The next issue of the newspaper “UWED news” was prepared by fifth-year students, summing up their theoretical knowledge and demonstrating their skills and abilities to issue a youth periodical. Like the professional editorial staff, the students created an editorial board that supervised the entire work of issuing a newspaper; they performed various functions. So, Gavhar Mirkhalilova was the chief editor, Elina Chirinova was the executive editor, Shakhzod Yuldashov did the work of a designer and programmer, and Ulugbek Abdusalamov, as a member of the editorial board, was in charge of proofreading work, reading the “UWED news” pages.

All students of the group acted as correspondents, analysts, photojournalists, they prepared their materials in accordance with the concept of the publication and its target audience. Work on the issue of the next issue of a student newspaper was conducted under the guidance of Professor Fatima Izatullaevna Muminova.

Over the course of the first semester of this academic year, students of this group published more than 40 publications, scientific and publicistic articles in the republican, foreign editions and the university student press.
