She calls students for the logical thinking and justification of their own approaches to solving problematic issues, and teaches them to be independent in the application of current legislation.

I.A. Cherkashina is one of the organizers of the Legal Clinic, which was created to prepare students for professional practice. She is also the permanent coach and curator for the last 17 years at this Clinic. Every year, Cherkashina I.A. manages to attract about a third of students studying at the faculty of law. Clinical education allows preparing specialists with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills of lawyers.

Together with students, she constantly participates in the dissemination of legal knowledge among the population by providing legal advice, holding meetings with residents of mahallas, work collectives, schoolchildren, orphans, etc.

Life experience, benevolent, but at the same time demanding attitude towards students, understanding of their problems and aspirations, create her an image of a good educator. She is responsible, hardworking, responsive and committed to her work.
