On December 12, 2018, Professor Johns Hopkins University, founder and chairman of the Institute of Central Asia and the Caucasus Frederick S. Starr delivered a lecture on the topic " Foreign models of regional coordination and association" at UWED.

During his speech, Professor Frederick Starr expressed his opinion and the reforms taking place in our Republic. Then he spoke about the current situation of regional integration processes and their significance for world politics.

The lecture was listened with great interest by students and teachers of the University and was followed by active questions and answers session.  Frederick Starr also expressed his satisfaction with the students' activity in the ensuing discussion, which demonstrates the great interest of the audience in modern regional policy system and domestic policy.

At the end of the meeting, the traditional ceremony of photographing honorary guest with students of the University took place.
