Guest lecture by prof. of King Juan Carlos University of Madrid C. Uriarte

Оn September 20, 2018 University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted guest lecture by Professor Carlos Uriarte of King Juan Carlos University of Madrid dedicated to topic "Modern Spain in the System of International Relations."

During the lecture, the professor paid special attention to the analysis of the causes and nature of the changes in various spheres of public life in the late XX- early XXI century, determining the place of Spain in the world. In addition, he noted the importance of analyzing the "triple jump" of Spain at the end of the 20th century - to democracy, to the liberal economic model, to inclusion in the integration structures of the European Union. Spain’s economic and political development, as well as the evolution of its international relations in recent years were also examined during the lecture.

At the end of the meeting, students were given the opportunity to ask questions of interest.
