The role of psychology in diplomacy

The University of World Economy and Diplomacy held a republican conference of students on the topic "The role and importance of psychology in the training of diplomatic personnel and their professional activities". Students of the leading universities of the country took part. About 60 scientific articles and abstracts were submitted to the organizing committee of the conference for publication in the collection of conference materials. Interesting reports and illustrations, slides were presented to the listeners. The names of the reports were: "Providing information and psychological security in the diplomatic service", "Psychological foundations of the professional development of diplomats", "The role of psychology in the development of electronic diplomacy", "Psychological factors of adaptation of a young diplomat in the work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan" and  etc.

The peculiarity of this forum was that the main moderators were the students themselves, they represented speakers, asked questions. Active communication was conducted in Uzbek, Russian and English. The organizational-methodical and mentoring assistance in the conduct of this student conference was provided by the teachers of the Department of "Social and Humanitarian Sciences" associate professor Aziza Abdullajanovna Usmanova and professor Fatima Izatullaevna Muminova. The authors of the best reports were awarded with certificates.
