On April 6, 2018 at the initiative of the laboratory “History of Uzbek Diplomacy” at the Department of “Social and Human Sciences” at the University a scientific and practical conference “The Importance of Amir Temur's Heritage in the Development of Diplomatic and International Relations of Modern Uzbekistan” was held.
The conference drew attention to the speech of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who spoke at the meeting devoted to the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the embassies of foreign countries in our country, highlighting the relevance of diplomacy during the reign of Amir Temur and the historical roots of Uzbek diplomacy. At the same time, the importance of studying diplomatic relations of Uzbekistan and international relations was noted on the example of the great commander, statesman Amir Temur.
At the conference, Deputy Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abduvahidov Abdujabbor Abdusattarovich delivered a welcoming speech. Head of the State Museum of the History of Temurids under the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Professor A.Madraimov, Head of the Department of “History of Uzbekistan and Political Sciences” of the Tashkent Institute of Technology Sh.Uljayeva, Professor of the Department of “Social and Humanitarian Sciences” R.Farmonov, employee of the Institute of History N. Khidirova, 4-year student of the faculty "International Relations" A.Fozilov.
On the topic of the conference, substantive reports of specialists, teachers and students, reflecting the scientific research of scientists were sounded. The exposition of book sources about the life and work of Amir Temur was held. Based on the materials of the conference, a collection of scientific articles was published.
