The winners of the essay contest about Islam Karimov

On April 3, 2018 in the Scientific-Educational Memorial Complex named after Islam Karimov the ceremony of awarding the winners of the essay contest about Islam Karimov was held.

485 students from 74 higher educational institutions of  Uzbekistan took part in the competition. The compositions sent for participation in the contest were evaluated by a special commission consisting of eminent scientists, historians, political scientists, philologists.

The holder of the first place was Otabek Akromov, a 5-year student at the University of  World Economy and Diplomacy. Yekaterina Kurtova and Sherzod Khayitboev were also in the winners list!

Participants in the solemn ceremony laid flowers at the monument to the First President, got acquainted with the exhibition "The Heart That Covered the Universe", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Islam Karimov.

The winners were presented by the Member of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, the First President's wife Tatyana Karimova and the Chairman of the Board of the Foundation Botir Ubaidullayev.
