Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan meets with MGIMO Rector

On March 19, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdujabar Abduvakhitov met with the rector of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations, Anatoly Torkunov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. As a result of the talks, the sides agreed on practical steps to strengthen cooperation between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and MGIMO, in training highly qualified specialists in the field of international economy, law, simultaneous interpretation, journalism and other popular areas. The parties agreed to pursue their plans on launching joint educational programs and creating a branch of MGIMO University in Tashkent.
