Meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the famous statesman and writer Sharaf Rashidov

On November 14, a meeting dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of a prominent statesman and writer Sharaf Rashidov was held at the University's Information and Resource Center. The doctor of political sciences, professor, writer Tulqin Alimardonov was invited to the meeting. The guest acquainted students with his book “Ўчмас шараф” (“Unfading honor”). During the meeting, the author of the work told how Sharaf Rashidov contributed to the development of our country during the formation of the Uzbek statehood, gave concrete examples of his life and creative activity, dwelt on the importance of informing young people about the great achievements of our ancestors, helping to realize they have a sense of loyalty in the name of patriotism, show the real heroic deeds of our fathers, educate the youth in a spirit of respect and pride in the historical heritage. At the end of the meeting, the guest presented his book to the university library. The meeting enriched the students with positive impressions.
