Conference on “Cross-Cultural Communication”

On 20^th of October 2015 a conference on “Cross-Cultural Communication” was held. The conference was organized by the English Language Department for the 2nd year students and supervised by Sekerova A.SH. and Borisova Ye. V. The conference was held in English. Senior students of IR Department performed simultaneous interpreting into Uzbek and Russian.

Participants of conference prepared reports, presentations, national dances and dishes. Videos about cultural peculiarities of different countries such as Uzbekistan, Great Britain, South Korea, Spain, Israel, UAE, Russia, Japan, China and India broadened their knowledge in cross-cultural communication, which is of utmost importance for future diplomats.
