Meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States in Uzbekistan

On October 6, 2017 rector A.Djumanov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USA to Uzbekistan Pamela Spratlen.

During the meeting A.Djumanov briefly spoke about the state of international cooperation of UWED with scientific educational and research institutions of foreign countries, including Japan, South Korea, Great Britain and Russia. In this context, an interest in establishing and developing academic and scientific ties with American universities and "think tanks" was expressed.

After the meeting, P. Spratlen conducted a lecture for students on the topic of "The Art of Diplomacy".

At the end of the event the parties expressed their gratitude for organizing this meeting and exchanged souvenirs.
