The focus is on foreign policy activity

On the initiative of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent on September 22-23, 2017, an international round table is held on the theme "Foreign policy of Uzbekistan in the framework of an action strategy". The forum started on September 22 at the Miran International Hotel. Along with Uzbek scientists, foreign experts, specialists in world politics, jurisprudence and international relations, heads of international research centers, educational institutions, representatives of parliaments and scientific organizations took part in it. Among the participants of the round table were representatives of Russia and the United States, Great Britain, China, Japan, India and other countries. Important issues of foreign policy were discussed at three plenary sessions: "International experience in the development and implementation of national development strategies: implementation in Uzbekistan", "Priorities for an open, constructive and mutually beneficial foreign policy of Uzbekistan", "Recommendations and proposals of foreign experts on mechanisms and instruments for implementation ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan". Speeches of foreign guests not only were full of important business proposals, recommendations, but also experts were involved into polemic discussions.
