Meeting with the Regional Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for Central Asia

On September 7, 2017, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted a meeting with the Regional Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for Central Asia, Richard Komenda, who is in Tashkent on an official visit.

R. Komenda delivered a lecture on the topic "Fundamentals of human rights". In his report, the expert informed the participants about universal legal guarantees, the main sources and history of the development of human rights.

At the end of the lecture, students were given the opportunity to ask questions, after which rector A. Djumanov thanked the distinguished guest for an interesting and useful lecture.
