The last matches of an inter-faculty “UWED Football League” (UFL)

On May 21, 2017 the last matches of an inter-faculty football league called “UWED Football League” (UFL) were held at the initiative of third-year students of the faculty of International Economic Relations. The “UFL” competition consisting of 17 rounds was organized in a high level gathering a big number of teams. This event plays a significant role in developing sport among the youth. In one of the final central matches, the strongest teams were defined by the teams "IER-2014" and "Economist". Both teams perfectly demonstrated their football skills in this match and eventually played a draw (7-7). According to the results of the past 17 rounds, teams such as IER-2014 (41 points), Ardus (38 points) and Economist (39 points) divided the first three places among themselves respectively. The awarding ceremony for the winners of the UFL football league will be held on May 27 at 12 p.m. in the UWED assembly hall (building A).
