A Scientific Practical Conference “The Issues of language education in training personnel for foreign political and economic relations”

On April 19^th 2017, a Scientific Practical Conference “The Issues of language education in training personnel for foreign political and economic relations” was organized at the University of World Economics and Diplomacy.

The following issues were discussed by the specialists in the course of the  conference: teaching state and foreign languages in the sphere of higher education, as well as application of modern pedagogical technologies in the process of language teaching; paying a special attention to independent learning and designing e-programs in the process of teaching foreign languages and analyzing initial results in these spheres;  providing encouraging environment for students’ active participation during foreign language lessons; developing ESP oriented spheres in Uzbek linguistics and implementation of  some of its branches into teaching process; paying attention to step-by-step teaching of the state language based on the experience of UWED and provide recommendations for its implementation; analysis of the achievements and problems derived from the initial experience of the group of simultaneous interpreters.

The teachers and professors of a number of academic institutions such as Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Uzbekistan State World Languages University, the National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent Financial Institute and the University of World Economics and Diplomacy participated in this conference.
