The holiday of Francophonie

On March 15-16, 2017, Embassies and Representative offices of member-countries and observers of the International Organization of Francophonie (OIF) in Uzbekistan together celebrated the holiday of Francophonie. The holiday was organized in cooperation with the National University of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the events, various competitions were held, where students, teachers and, in general, French language lovers could take part.

Along with other contestants from different educational institutions of Uzbekistan, students of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy participated in these competitions.

According to the results of the competitions, students of the Faculty "International Relations" UWED Kurtova Ekaterina (2nd year student), Mirkhalilova Gavkhar (3rd year student) won prizes and were awarded with tourist vouchers to France for cultural exchange. Turobova Laylo (3rd year student), Toshev Otabek (4th year student) also were awarded with various prizes presented by the embassies of Algeria, Bulgaria, Egypt, France, Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland and Ukraine.
