UWED held an educational program dedicated to the experience of PPP from international practice

At the Faculty of Executive Education (Education for leaders) of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, together with the consulting company AXELCIUM (France), on June 6-8, an educational program “Public-private partnership (PPP): successful examples from international practice” was held.

More than 40 heads and specialists of ministries, departments and regions of Uzbekistan involved in the process of introducing and implementing PPP projects have been trained.

First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodyq Safoev congratulated the participants on the successful completion of the course.

“The program was implemented in the light of the tasks set by the President of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev to attract private investment in the energy, infrastructure and other sectors of Uzbekistan. In this regard, it is important to use public-private partnership based on the study of successful world experience in this area”, S.Safoev said.

The participants of the educational program thanked the organizers of this project, noting the importance of practical acquaintance with the principles of public-private partnership and the conditions for the implementation of successful PPP projects from international practice.

Upon completion of the program, the trainees were awarded international certificates.
