The 687th anniversary of the birth of Amir Temur was celebrated at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

The event was attended by the Temurid scientist, Doctor of historical sciences, Professor Sh. Oljaeva, senior staff of the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan and guests. Important points were mentioned about the life path of the great commander and statesman, about the respect shown to Amir Temur in our country, about the great and rich heritage of Amir Temur and the Timurids in the development of national statehood, science and culture.

During the event, it was noted that worldwide interest  to study the rich heritage of Amir Temur is growing and the contribution of Timurids to statehood, science, culture, creativity and other areas. Information about his ideas on the management of state affairs, people's peace and well-being, about his noble and just deeds was also given. In addition, songs by the honored artist of Uzbekistan Gulbahor Erkulova and stage performances by university students were performed.

In Uzbekistan and abroad, many works are being created and scientific research is being carried out on the great contribution of the Timurids to the development of world civilization.

During the event, lectures were heard on topics such as public administration policy and cultural life during the Timurid period, and the participants were informed about the exemplary qualities in working for the interests of the people.
