The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

On March 28, this year First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodyq Safoev received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan Zahangir Alam.

During the meeting, the state and prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, expansion of trade and economic cooperation were discussed.

The Ambassador expressed interest in increasing the tourist flow from Bangladesh for the purpose of tourism to the holy places of Uzbekistan and, in this regard, establishing regular flights between the two countries.

Cooperation in the field of higher education was considered separately, in particular, the establishment of a partnership between UWED and the National University of Dhaka.
