The importance of spiritual heritage of Alisher Navoi in the education of young people

On February 8^th, 2017 a meeting-discussion on the issue of importance of spiritual heritage of Alisher Navoi in the education of young people was held for all students of UWED. The given event was dedicated to the 576 birthday of Alisher Navoi a great thinker of the East. The significance of masterpieces of the poet in the sphere of nurturing of the young generation as well as forming into their hearts of national pride and honor was highlighted. The students in their presentations cited rhymes of a great thinker and pointed out the contribution to Navoi in the ideological education of the younger generation. Special attention was paid to his poetic compositions where the poet the prescribed instructions, reflections, requirements, recommendations, dreams, wishes, aimed at human education, particularly of young people.

The researches on life and work of Alisher Navoi which was carried out by scholars have been sounded for students. At the end of cultural event a video dedicated to a life of Alisher Navoi was demonstrated to the audience.
