On December 27 of this year, the ceremony of awarding certificates to the first students of the Diplomatic Academy under the University of World Economy and Diplomacy was held.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Director of the Diplomatic Academy under the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Sodyq Safoev, and the team of professors and teachers of the academy. During his speech, the director of the Academy congratulated the first graduates of the first Diplomatic Academy in the history of Uzbekistan for successfully completing the training courses and wished them great success in their future activities.

For information: On November 1 of the current year, the Diplomatic Academy under the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, established on the basis of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to systematically reform the activity of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy” dated July 23, 2022, PD-330, has started its activities.

In a short time, based on the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Diplomatic Academy, with the active support and assistance of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, was able to carry out many preparatory works. Large-scale work on the new structure of higher diplomatic education, formation of faculty and material and technical base has begun. To date, the statute of the Academy has been developed and approved, the staff schedule has been approved, curricula and training programs for the first trainees, as well as the system for evaluating the readiness of the trainees of the Academy have been developed.

On December 11, 2022, the “Diplomatic Protocol and International Negotiations” course was successfully completed by the representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On December 26, 2022, the “Foreign Policy and Foreign Economic Activities of the Republic of Uzbekistan” course on the systematic training of reserve diplomats was successfully completed by the first group of listeners, consisting of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense and Legislative Chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
