After his welcoming words, O. Babakurban proceeded with the presentation, in the form of a short film for students. The journey of 74 innocent students’ hopes, dreams, trials and tribulations in the pursuit of knowledge to serve their nation to achieve independence was explored. This ambitious project was initiated by Jadid leaders. The goal was to educate these students in Europe’s epicenter of arts and science, Berlin, Germany. The memorial presentation included rare historical photographs, footages and documents to explore the fate of those students who returned to the motherland and those who did not.

At the end of the presentations, the viewers got the chance to express their views and ask questions regarding the presentation.
