The Department of Executive Education of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) jointly with LUISS Business School (Italy) is delivering an educational program «Contemporary Industrial Policy» from 21st to 25th of November, 2022.

The program is part of a pilot joint project with the Agency for Development of Civil Service under the President's office. Senior officials from central government agencies and regional authorities, as well as senior executives of public and private companies of Uzbekistan will attend the program.

LUISS Business School is among recognized leaders in Executive Education and it has been continuously honored as Italy's Best University and a School of Elite Education (Golden BIP award, EQUIS international certification).

The program is intended to present to participants different concepts and   international practices. The topics will cover Traditional and Contemporary approaches to industrial policy, Industrial policies for sustainable development, Clusters and cluster organizations in Europe, the EU resilience strategy and the Italian National recovery and resilience plan, cases of Japan’s and Singapore’s industrial development.

An internationally recognized expert in the field of management, sustainable development and competitive strategies, professor of the Faculty of Economics of LUISS Business School Matteo Giuliano Caroli will deliver the program. Mr. Caroli is also a director of the Center for Applied Research and author of numerous articles in prestigious international editions.

The educational process will take place in the form of interactive seminars and discussions, based on cases from international practice.

Participants will be awarded certificates of international standard upon completion of the program.
