UWED doctoral student Kamola Khudjamova took part in a training at the ODIHR Political Academy for young women. The training was held from November 6 to 10 in Warsaw (Poland) at the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights.

Participants gained knowledge about women's rights, leadership skills, international human rights standards and democratic changes in the world.

Furthermore, participants from different countries exchanged experience in the field of human rights, gender equality and elections.

Various trends and narrow-profile topics on women's rights were touched upon at this Academy. Participants of the 2nd Academy of Young Women Politicians included participants from 4 countries: Uzbekistan, Georgia, Macedonia and Poland.

As part of the trainings, well-known experts and specialists from Poland, Slovenia, Georgia, Macedonia and Germany made presentations.
