A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and the University Ibn Khaldun (Turkiye)

On November 10 this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy was visited by a delegation headed by Nejmeddin Bilal Erdogan, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Ibn Khaldun.
During the meeting, the Minister of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdukodir Tashkulov, welcoming the Turkish guests who arrived on an official visit to Uzbekistan, introduced the delegation of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy. Also, the First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Durbek Amanov delivered a welcoming speech, who conveyed the greetings to the delegation from Turkey and conveyed the warm wishes of the Rector Sodyq Safoev to the delegation of the University Ibn Khaldun. “We know that Ibn Khaldun University is one of the leading universities in Turkey in the field of international relations and social sciences. We are ready to establish multilateral cooperation with this university in this area,” said D.Amanov.
During the conversation, members of the Turkish delegation - Rector of Ibn Khaldun University Atilla Arkan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Irfan Gunduz and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University Necmeddin Bilal Erdogan expressed gratitude for the reception. It was noted that interuniversity student relations will rise to a new level. The implementation of educational exchange programs for students and teachers was emphasized, and it was also proposed to organize a joint week-long summer academic school.
Then a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between the parties. The parties agreed to draw up a joint roadmap between universities and establish further promising cooperation based on this roadmap.
For reference: Ibn Khaldun University was established in 2017 on the initiative of the President of the Republic of Turkey. Currently, 1800 students study at this university. Among them, foreign students from 81 countries.
