The event dedicated to the “Day of the German Language” was organized at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy

On October 28 this year, the Department of “Romano-Germanic Languages” ​​organized an event dedicated to the “Day of the German Language at UWED”. The concert program was attended by the administration of the university, the attaché for culture and the press of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Ms. Hori Adlka, the faculty and students of the university.

The First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual and Educational Work of UWED Yusupdjanov Odil Abdugafurovich in his welcoming speech noted that the attention paid to the German language at our university among students is growing every day.

The concert program was full of bright, unforgettable presentations, readings of poems by prominent German poets, folk and modern dances, lyrical and incendiary songs.

The culmination of the holiday was the awarding of students studying German as the main and the second language, with “Diplomas of the highest degree” in the essay competition in German.
