University of World Economy and Diplomacy was visited by professors and academic staff of NarXoz University of Kazakhstan

On September 16 of this year within the UniCEN project, professors and academic staff of NarXoz University, one of the leading higher education institutions of Kazakhstan, visited UWED to discuss the prospects of establishing bilateral cooperation between universities.

In the first part of the visit, representatives of NarXoz met with the UWED Vice-rector G. Ismailova, the deputy director of the Institute of Prospective International Studies A. Umarov, the dean of the faculty of "International Economy and Management" M. Khamdamov and professors of the faculty.

The dean M. Khamdamov gave detailed information about UWED to the Kazakh colleagues, introduced the university's potential and future prospects. Also, opinions were exchanged about promising aspects of cooperation between the universities that can be established in the field of economics.

In the second part of the visit, the representatives of NarXoz University met with the head of the "Political Science" department F. Sattarov and professors of the department. After that, guests from Kazakhstan conducted a meeting with the dean and faculty members of the School of International Law. During the meetings, negotiations were held between the parties on issues such as the development of common educational plans, the joint publication of articles and monographs, the establishment of professor-teacher exchange programs, and the organization of scientific conferences and roundtable discussions for researchers.
