UWED doctoral student became the winner of the Forum of Finalists of the A. Gromyko International Studies Competition

July 26-27 this year the Forum of finalists of the competition of international specialists named after A. Gromyko took place. This year 548 people from 13 CIS countries took part in the competition. The final of the competition included 52 participants representing leading universities, academic institutions, public authorities, public and business structures. At this prestigious Forum, UWED was represented by Associate Professor Feruza Khamdamova and the basic doctoral student of the University Islomkhon Gafarov.

In the final part, the Forum organizers announced the results of the 2022 CIS Young International Relations Competition. MGIMO Rector Anatoly Torkunov and Director of the Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexei Gromyko presented the winners and finalists with diplomas, valuable prizes and memorable gifts. As a result of the Forum, I. Gafarov won a prize for the article “The Diplomatic Legacy of A. Gromyko: Messages on the Education of Young Diplomats”.
