The University of World Economy and Diplomacy will be transformed into a “Smart University”

 

On July 23 of this year, the Presidential Decree “On measures to systematically reform the activities of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy” was signed.

Starting from the academic year 2022/2023, the activities of the university will be transformed on the basis of the concept of a new generation higher educational institution – “Smart University”.

Academic activities at the university are organized on the basis of scientific and analytical orientation and educational technologies of academic integrity, as well as the software and hardware complex that provides them.

Every year, at least 10 professors, doctoral students and undergraduates of the university are sent to leading educational institutions of foreign countries for scientific internships and professional development.

University professors are empowered to award academic titles as well as recognize academic titles and academic degrees awarded on the basis of academic independence in their recruitment.

Starting from the academic year 2022/2023, talented students of the university will be sent to diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad to undergo educational internship. The editorial board of the journal “International Relations: politics, economics, law”  will be established under the university.
