UWED students took part in the IV Forum of Young Leaders of the Organization of Turkic States

IV Forum of Young Leaders of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Bukhara on June 2-4. Dilmurod Dilmurodov, a second-year student at the Faculty of International Relations of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, and Javohir Imamov, a first-year student at the Faculty of International Economics and Management took part as volunteer-translators in this forum.

Within the framework of this forum, the city of Bukhara was declared the “Youth Capital of the Turkic World” in 2022. The decision to declare Bukhara the “Youth Capital of the Turkic World"” in 2022 was made at the forum.

The forum was attended by Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Baghdad Amreyev, Technological Director of Baykar Technology Seljuk Bayraktar, Minister of Youth and Sports of Turkey Khalis Yunus Ersyoz, Director of the Youth Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Sadullayev and Governor of Bukhara region Botir Zaripov.

At the end of the event, a joint resolution was signed on the proclamation of Bukhara as the first “Youth Capital of the Turkic World” and an action plan for 2022 in Bukhara.
