UWED organized an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Achievements and prospects for relations between Uzbekistan and France”

On May 18 this year, the University of World Economy and Diplomacy hosted an international scientific and practical conference “Achievements and prospects for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and France”, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and France.

It was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodik Safoev, Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan Orel Bouchez, ex-Ambassadors of France to Uzbekistan Mr. - Ms. Isabelle Servoz-Gallucci, Deputy of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor Kadir Juraev, diplomats of the French Embassy, ​​researcher at the French Institute of International Relations Mikael Leviston, faculty and students of UWED and representatives of the media.

This event, which was held in French, was a good opportunity to take stock of the growing cooperation between our two countries in front of UWED French language students. It also shows the importance that the French Embassy attaches to its relations with UWED in particular and university cooperation in general.
